A 19th century bronze figure of a winged cherub holding a dolphin.

The animated figure, known as The Verrocchio Putto, depicting the happy cherub, clasping a twisting dolphin, as he stands on a domed base. After the original, now in the Palazzo Vecchio, Florence.

Date c 1870.

Height 16 1/2 inches, 42cm.
