A Gorgeous Silver Mounted Art Nouveau Decanter

Description

A gorgeous silver mounted decanter from the end of the Victorian era. This beautiful and stylish example is of shaped baluster form, with sinuous ribbing to the sides and a silver collar shaped to suggest a Lily. The decanter has a steeple stopper in matching hallmarked silver, that is formed to echo the stamen of the flower. An attractive and usable piece of antique glassware, in typical Art Nouveau design.
