Victorian Walnut Arts & Crafts Double Bed

Description

A charming antique Victorian Arts and Crafts carved walnut double bed dating from circa 1890. The headboard and footboard in a richly figured walnut frame with attractive foliate carved top rail and central burr walnut panel above vertical slats with moorish motif cut-outs and topped with flat finials. It has a Vono style frame which is easily assembled or dis-assembled. Good warm patina and colour to the frame. Comprising of a headboard, footboard and iron rails (no base, mattress or bedding included).
