A small early 18th.Century oak bureau The sloping fall having an original shaped brass escutcheon with working lock and opens to reveal a stepped interior, 6 drawers, small cupboard and 6 pigeon holes. There are 2 secret drawers and a well which can be seen in the photos and the fall has a green and tooled leather writing surface. The bureau has 2 short over 2 long drawers all lined with 18thC written paper and retaining their original brass handles and escutcheons, the whole standing on offset bracket feet. Dimensions:- Height…39’’/ 99cm. Width…31’’/78.5cm. Depth…18.5’’/ 47cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £50.
