Small Folk Art Model Ship in a Box. Sea Bird 1936.

Description

This handsome folk art ship in a box has been lovingly handmade in wood, dates from the 1930's and is a model of Sea Bird which is encased in a glass fronted wooden box.

There is an inscription on the bottom that reads To Edna from Tony Sept 1936.

This unusual piece is a fascinating piece of folk art that looks very nice displayed on a shelf and makes a great talking piece.
