These charming pieces are dated 1876, they are advertisements for illustrated Magazines which have been dressed in colours and fabrics for samples to be used by traveling sales men to show samples of dyed silks and hand made lace
These two appliqué are mounted in deep frames, they are preserved in good condition
The frames are 19” high, 15” wide and 3” deep
