A most unusual pair of Mintons Menue plaques, rectangular in design and of the like I have never seen before, so I am guessing quite rare. Minton's trademark to the reverse along with impressed Victorian lozenge along with other marks, hard to make out but almost certainly manufactured before 1891, as "England" was added at this point, which is missing from these fine pieces.
Great fun, beautiful quality, fun decoration with cherubs holding, serving different dishes etc. Some staining commensurate with age, but something you are probably unlikely to come across ever again.
Beautiful Minton turquoise border on the surrounding edge.
