Cased Pair of Edwardian Silver Trefid Pattern Serving Spoons by Robert Stebbings, London 1909

Description

This is a very elegant pair of Edwardian solid silver servers. They were made in London 1909 by Robert Stebbings. The shaped circular bowls with gilt wash, the handles in the sought-after trefid pattern. Fitted in a Morocco leather presentation box. The interior of the box lined with satin and velvet.

They are a very good silver gauge and feel satisfyingly heavy. A testimony of their quality.

Hallmarks:

RS for Robert Stebbings.

Lion Passant.

London Assay mark.

Date letter "n" for 1909.

Dimensions:

Length: 20cm / 8 inches.

Bowls diameter: 6cm / 2.4 inches

Weight: 139 g / 4.7 oz.

Condition:

Excellent.
