A Lovely Acanthus Engraved Silver Cocktail Purse

Description

A delightful hallmarked silver cocktail purse from the end of the First World War. This gorgeous piece has a decorated engraved exterior, featuring acanthus leaves and a large vacant cartouche. This pattern is repeated fully on the back. The body is hinged, fitted with a twist clasp, chain and finger ring. The interior is the original tan kid leather and is divided into three compartments. Dimensions below.
