Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
It has a platinum case surrounded by diamonds and then diamonds to the fully articulated shoulders, it is very much of the Art Deco era in design.
It is attached to a traditional velvet band which can be adjusted to fit any wrist size. It has a stainless clasp which is very secure.
As you would expect from Jaeger-LeCoultre the diamonds are bright, crisp and evenly matched and has the total weight is approximately 1.5cts, the sparkle they generate is just stunning.
The case is 15mm wide excluding the winding crown and the total length of the diamond section is 45mm.
It comes with a premium quality wooden presentation box.
It is quite stunning with a white dial which has been professionally restored so is in perfect condition. A new glass has been fitted and it has been cleaned and polished so it is absolutely pristine.
The high quality gold plated calibre 407 17 jewel movement is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition, this is a movement from the golden age of Swiss watchmaking.
As you would expect from Jaeger-LeCoultre the watch is fully marked on the dial and movement.

This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
