Rare Pair Of Scottish Provincial Silver Ladles Aberdeen 1824 - 1891

A first rate and very rare pair of splendid, early Scottish provincial solid silver Ladles. The ladles are a lovely plain polished silver with an unusual engraved armorial to the top of the handle featuring a snake encompassing a fleur de lis. The back of each terminal bears the very clear silver maker''s mark for Rettie Middleton & Son Aberdeen 1824 - 91.
