French C1900 Gustave Keller Solid Hallmarked Silver Leather Bound Hip Flask

Lovely antique solid hallmarked silver hip flask leather bound.
A really usable size to fit a pocket. Holds 7 fluid ounces 1/3 pint of liquid.
Made by the famous French maker Gustave Keller of 22 Rue Joubert, Paris and carries
the makers stamp and the large articles 950 mark.
They were retailers of quality luxury goods between 1867 and 1920.
By the style of the flask it would date between 1890 and 1900.
It has a glass body that is covered in kid skin leather and has a solid silver cap and cup.
The cup has the silver marks detailed above as well as the company name to the base.
It comes with a cork lined bayonet cap and removable cup, which fits snuggle with the flask body.
Height 5 3/4 inches 14.5 cm
Width 3 inches 7.5 cm
Depth 1 9/16 inches 4 cm.
Excellent condition for it's age and the flask is liquid tight with no leakage.
One tiny patch in the leather by the neck as shown in the pictures.
Light surface marks to the silver from age and use but no damage or repairs.
A lovely usable piece.
