Antique Edwardian Mahogany Gents Compactum Wardrobe with Clothes Press C1900

This is a Superb Quality Antique Edwardian Mahogany Gentleman’s Compactum Wardrobe and dating f on around 1900. Constructed from excellent quality mahogany it has a cornice top above a deep frieze and to one side there are two fielded panelled doors with brass handles . Internally there are four sliding and removable mahogany tray drawers. This is above a long false drawer front which folds down to reveal the original clothes press which is in good working order. There are a further four short drawers above a second double false drawer front which again folds down and this time reveals six mahogany sliders to each. Underneath this there are two long drawers. All of the drawers are mahogany lined with original brass handles. To the other side there are two full length doors each with a small fielded panel to the top above a long moulded panel and with original brass handles and working key. Internally there is a single shelf above a hanging rail. The wardrobe is raised on a deep plinth base.

An absolutely superb wardrobe of quality that separates into nine pieces for ease of transporting.
