Gatsby Jewellery Ltd has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The diamonds are set in platinum coronet collets, leading to a substantial yellow gold shank with distinctive fluted detailing down the side and shoulders. A truly lovely piece.

Cut –Oval cut sapphire and old mine cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 0.80 with approximately 0.53 carat of diamonds.

Circa – 1920.
Size – F 1/2 (UK) or 3 1/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – From the outer edge of one diamond to the other is 12.9mm. The ring is 6.7mm at the widest point and sits 4.5mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow gold and platinum. Tested.
