Description

A quality French four glass mantel clock. Choice Sienna marble with brass surround and bevelled glass panels. A well cast lion bronze to the top. A circular enamel dial with 'moon' blued steel hands and a decorative cast brass edging. A mercury compensating pendulum to the Japay Freres 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Circa 1895.
