In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Regency era.
It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy. The drawers have their original penny paper lining and are generally clean and tidy. They open well, having recently had the runners either repaired or replaced. The handles are later replacements but suit the piece well.
There are a few old repairs to chips around the drawers and a repair to the veneer across one back corner (see photos) but overall they display very well.
