Victorian Antique Silver Tankard 1868

19th century
Description

This unusual and rare VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER TANKARD is of plain form with scroll handle and stands on three ball feet.

Made by George Fox in 1868, this stunning piece is in fabulous condition and even retains the gilt interior finish despite being almost 150 years old.

The tankard has not been engraved with initials or monograms and would make an excellent Christening Gift or could add to any silver collection.

Condition:

Used / Excellent

There is no damage and there are no repairs.

There are two small dinks to the inside where the feet are attached - nothing significant but mentioned for accuracy.
