An Omega 1939 Manual Wristwatch

1920 - 1940
Description

A 1939 Omega stainless steel wristwatch. A silvered dial in great original condition with sweep seconds with 'railway track' minutes. The dial layout and blued steel hands are typical of military issue Omega's with 30T2SC manual wind, 16 Jewel mechanism. The case inner is marked Omega and has case reference 2381-8. Serial numbers date the watch to circa 1939 and the case back mark 'TFJ 1945' is likely to be the sale date of the watch at the end of WW2.
