Large Antique Wing Armchair

19th century
Description

A lovely Queen Anee style wing armchair dating from the late 19th century. It is good quality with a classic shape and generous proportions. It has a mahogany frame with ball and claw cabriole legs. It has been recently upholstered in a good quality and pleasant pale dusky green/yellow fabric. The upholstery is clean and tidy and perfectly useable as it is or the chair provides a good solid frame to work with for re-upholstery.

The chair is in very good condition for its age. It is strong and sturdy and most importantly comfortable. There are some general marks and small knocks around the legs but nothing detrimental.
