A Small Edwardian Silver Go-to-bed Chamber Stick

A charming example of Edwardian domestic silver in the Arts & Crafts taste. This delightful piece is a small chamber stick , sometimes called a go-to-bed. It has a circular base with beaded rim and fixed sconce with repeated beading, to hold a small candle. The handle has a charming 'gingerbread cut-out design. An interesting and unusual item.
