Empire Style Walnut Towel Rail C.1890.

Description

Superb quality Empire style walnut towel rail c.1890. Unusually large and sturdy with two wide brass rails for hanging towels, clothes etc. Of impressive architectural form, arched ends over stepped moulded pediments raised on turned and tapering columns with good quality chased brass mounts top and bottom. Heavy moulded bases for stability with a wide moulded foot and joined with a turned stretcher. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
