~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~

A very pretty original antique French clock, beautifully made from gilded bronze in the Baroque style. The case is architecturally modelled and decorated with mythical creatures and profuse flowing foliage. The front of the case is finely fretted, allowing the pendulum to be seen swinging inside. The modelling of the case is beautiful with fine detail.

The dial is porcelain enamel on copper with a gilt bronze centre and blued steel hands.

The French movement is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a replacement. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. We have a video clip of the clock running, please ask.

Condition of the case is excellent, the original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with hardly any wear or discolouration. The dial is also in excellent condition with just some hailines.

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
