Description

Edwardian era marble top sideboard c.1905. Superbly figured original pink marble top over two drawers and a two door cupboard with a single adjustable shelf inside. Unusual burr elm veneered front with mahogany crossbanding and inlaid satinwood border. Inlaid marquetry work design of a laurel wreath tied with ribbon to both doors and the centre panel. Mahogany and satinwood inlaid sides. Original gilded ormolu corner mounts, handles and escutcheons. Oak drawer linings and groundwork. Excellent colour and condition cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
