Description

An excellent quality mid 19th century mahogany writing table in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster. Of fine construction in solid mahogany with attractive mahogany veneers. The rectangular top surrounded with thumb-nail moldings and fitted with a sumptuous leather writing surface in "conker" brown. With a pair of freeze drawers to the front. All standing on classic turned and reeded legs terminating in brass castors. This table is finished to the rear so it could be free standing within a room if required. Offered for sale in excellent condition with a great colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home or office.
