An Edwardian Period Mahogany Inlaid Antique Bureau

1900 - 1920
Description

An Edwardian Period mahogany inlaid antique bureau. Constructed using fiddleback mahogany and having a sloping fall front with fine marquetry and pen-work detail, opening to reveal a fitted interior with a green leather writing surface. The front having four graduating oak lined drawers again with fine marquetry inlaid detail. With solid mahogany sides all raised on shaped bracket feet. Possibly made by Maple & Co or Shoolbred & Co although un-marked. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 39" high x 18" deep x 30" wide

Condition: This bureau is in good condition, there are some marks to the leather writing surface as shown on the images. Cleaned and waxed
