Edwardian Antique Silver Hip Flask with Cup 1904

1900 - 1920
Description

This SOLID SILVER HIP FLASK was made by Marples & Beasley and assayed in Chester in 1904.

In superb condition despite being 115 years old, this lovely flask has a twist bayonet cap, is watertight and ready for use. The flask has no added engravings, monograms or initials and is nicely curved to fit into the pocket.

This superb Hip Flask comes complete with its own detachable Cup which retains the original gilt lining.

Holding 150mls, this excellent flask is ready for use and would make a lovely gift for someone who enjoys a tipple on the move !

Condition:

Used / Excellent

There is no damage and no repairs.

Hallmarks on Body and Cup are rubbed.

One or two minor dents to cap / body – nothing much but mentioned for accuracy.
