Georgian Intricate Baroque Pearl Pendant

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: Eva Antiques

An interesting and unusual pendant from the Georgian period, c1790s. The pendant is made from sterling silver that has a 9ct gold wash on the top, giving it a gold appearance. It has wonderful natural baroque pearls that have been threaded expertly onto gold wire and the piece likely originated in Italy. The pearls have been perfectly placed around this intricate gold frame and it has been finished with little faceted gold details. The centre point of the frame with two little baroque pearls is articulated giving the pendant some lovely movement when worn.
The pendant will come on an 18" 14kt gold fill chain as pictured.
