Antique English Cut Crystal and Sterling Silver Perfume or Scent Bottle

Description

A wonderful large example made from stunning cut crystal with a pretty and most unusual variety of cuts and designs.

The collar and hinged lid is made from solid or sterling silver, the top having a highly decorative floral repousse design with a central circular vacant cartouche which could be engraved if desired.

The silver bears the English sterling hallmark for Birmingham 1908 making this a true Edwardian example.

The bottle retains it's original large glass stopper, perfect to keep the precious contents airtight, and preventing evaporation.

Always highly sought-after this spherical globe remains in excellent condition. The approximate diameter of the globe is 4", standing 5 1/4" tall.
