A very fine solid silver Egg Cup and Spoon Set in the original black leatherette Case. The Egg Cup is a lovely heavy gauge silver, beautifully designed with a protruding scalloped edge. Clear hallmarks are crisp and clear for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1962 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The maker''s mark is also clear for: John William Caldicott.
The silver spoon also bears the same hallmarks, however, has a date mark for 1963.
A lovely set in lovely vintage condition. The presentation box is also in lovely condition. Lovely as a gift fora Christening or naming ceremony!
