Description

An Exceptionally Well Cast Dark Patinated Bronze Figure Modelled as a Standing Classical Female, draped in Robes and holding long Garlands of Flowers. Third Quarter of the Nineteenth Century, possibly of French origin.
Professionally adapted as an Electric Table Lamp. Complete with a substantial square well veined Sienna Marble base with a decorative ormolu mount.
Condition: Good condition with nice dark patination, no visible foundry marks. Professionally recently re-wired.
Height: (entire as shown on image) 31" (79cm). Height: (bronze figure only) 19.75” (50cm). Width: (at marble base) 6.5” (16.5cm). Depth: (at base) 6.5” (16.5cm).
