Large Antique Pine and Oak Cricket Table

19th century
Description

Superb example of a large cricket table dating from the mid 19th Century. Traditional form with three pine legs and a circular planked oak top with an attractive carved frieze below. It is in good condition and has a wonderful rich patina. There are minor signs of age and use, some marks and knocks and an old shrinkage split between 2 planks but nothing detrimental. There are wonderful blacksmith made brackets around the top of each leg and the table is strong and sturdy. It has been gently cleaned and waxed to retain its aged patina and it is ready for use.
