Description

Antique 1918 silver Pilot pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The nicely jewelled movement is signed Pilot, 15 jewels, 2 adjustments, Swiss made.

The watch measures 50.8mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside for Birmingham 1918, with a case maker's mark for the watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark and a small "ding" to the back.

The glass lens has a small nibble to the outer edge between 1 & 2 o'clock but overall it is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark from use.

The white enamel dial has a couple of very faint hairline cracks and an old repair under the bezel at 9 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original gold coloured hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
