Description

Circa 1880, sandalwood Indian games box. Micro mosaic (sadeli) with a geometric hexagonal pattern in Berlin silver, with a working lock and key. The top with inset chess/droughts board, Chinese chequers board and centred with a cribbage board. Opens to reveal a back gammon board and storage area. Area of manufacture: Bombay Presidency. Some slight sadeli loss as is so often the case.
