Fine and expressive composition depicting waves breaking over a rocky shore by the sea. Thickly layered impasto creates a realistic and evocative scene which will display well in a modern or period setting.
 
Walker was an academically trained artist born in England migrating to California in the first decades of the 20th century where he spent the remainder of his life.
 
Presented in a plain black frame with gold slip ready to hang.
