Description

Wedgwood pottery teapot, c. 1875. The teapot, modelled in the Aesthetic style, as sections of flowering bamboo, beneath a lilac glaze. Having an overhead handle, and a similarly moulded lid, with a ‘bamboo’ finial. Impressed upper case ‘WEDGWOOD’ mark, and registration mark to the base. Height - 13 cm, 5 1/8”.

Length - 15.5 cm, 6 1/8”.

Depth - 9.5 cm, 3 3/4”.

Condition - Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
