Rare Victorian Brass Miniature Fob Postage Letter Scales

A very rare Victorian brass miniature fob Postage Letter Scale. The scale has a small clip attached to a spring which would have had an envelope clipped on and weighed in ounces; measurements on one side, and the cost to post scale on the other (between 1 and 2 1/2 pennies). The Scale is stamped postage on the top and has a Reg No at the base denoting the age 112079 ( the number for the year 1889).
An unusual item and of great interest to a stamp case collector!

Depth: 6 mm approx.
