An Henri Jacot French striking and repeating carriage clock. The original case gilding. An enamel dial with blued steel hands and distinctive Jacot Roman numeral layout. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Push button repeating. The original lever escapement. An earlier serial number of 5594. Circa. 1886.
