Description

For your consideration is this English Art Deco burr walnut two-door, two drawer single-piece tallboy, circa 1930, boasting stunning mirror matched veneers and in excellent original condition. Comprising of an elegant Art Deco serpentine design with matched burr walnut veneers to the front and figured walnut to the sides. The drawers also boast their original bakelite and chrome handles. The left-hand door retains its original sliding bolts, top and bottom, to secure the door when closed. The right-hand door retains its original working spring-loaded latch. Inside features a removable internal shelf and an overall very generous sized space. This is a single piece because of its narrow width is ideal for compact rooms as it consumes very little space. A rich walnut colouring with a highly figured grain and having been through our workshops is in great condition.
