Description

Very striking Worcester Flight Barr & Barr period coffee can c.1820. The lower half in a rich grass green framed within gilded bands and The upper section is decorated with twining gilded vine leaves, berries and tendrils within gilded bands. A gilded rim and fine detail to the handle, the vine leaf pattern continuing down the back and graduated gilded dots running up the sides, top and bottom. Impressed FFB under crown mark.

It measures 6.5cm (2 5/8") high, 7cm (2 3/4") rim to rim and 9cm (3 1/2") rim to handle. Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and minimal surface wear. A small section (1cm) of kiln dust dots at the base.
