Pair of Cocktail Armchairs C.1890.

Description

Superb pair of late 19th.c. cocktail or tub armchairs c.1890. Low shaped backs and arms over a comfortable sprung. Recently upholstered in a very smart striped velvet corduroy fabric with piped edges, a broad rope trim and a long tassel braid below the seat. Raised on short carved and ebonised legs. Excellent condition, with very clean covers.
