Description

A splendid late Regency period rosewood chiffonier or side cabinet. Of excellent construction in solid rosewood with attractive rosewood veneers onto a mahogany carcas. The top section with a single glazed door (lockable with key supplied) which opens to access a shelved and lined interior. Flanked by Corinthian columns with brass capitols. Either side is shelving supported by turned columns with acanthus detailing. All surmounted by a varigated black marble top and a brass gallery. The base with a pair of cupboard doors (which open to reveal shelved interiors) which flank a central mirror-backed recess. The recess flanked by a further pair of turned Corinthian columns. All standing on squat bun feet. Offered for sale in excellent condition with a rich colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
