Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Desk Chair Open Armchair

1900 - 1920
Description

A handsome and substantial antique Edwardian mahogany inlaid open armchair or desk chair in Art Nouveau style design dating from circa 1905. In a good quality richly figured mahogany with satinwood inlay. The chair features a dipped top rail and curved arm supports and it stands on tapered legs. The drop-in seat has been newly reupholstered. Comfortable and sturdy, would make a wonderful desk chair. A really good quality chair with the initials “F.O” stamped to the inside of the seat rail.
