Antique 1907 Waltham Traveler Pocket Watch.

Description

Antique 1907 Waltham Traveler pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, Traveler grade, which is working well. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 15577621 which dates it back to 1907. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model from the watch case manufacturer Dennison. Dennison supplied many watch makers with cases but they had a particularly close relationship with Waltham. The case is in nice condition with only minor surface marking from use.

The watch glass is in nice condition.

The dial has a couple of very faint hairline cracks although hardly noticeable but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
