Description

An unusual 6 drawer solid Mahogany 2 part military campaign Chest, circa 1880. Ash linings, brass corner fittings and removable bun fit. All the drawers dove tailed and put together with screws to enable adjustment to the drawers in the event of shrinkage - robustly constructed for transport and movement. A supremely practical piece of furniture, the first large drawer down is ideal for bulky items. The top centre with removable partitions. The best quality Hobbs and Co. locks for security.
