Description

A Breitling Model 2916 manual wind wristwatch made in Geneva, Switzerland in the 1950’s.

The stainless steel case measures 32mm excluding the crown. A replacement Hirsch genuine leather strap has been fitted with a length of 23cm. Originally made as a mans watch but now almost certainly unisex in its design and size. This style of watch is typically known as a dress watch.

The manual wind movement has been fully serviced by our Watchmaker and carries a 12 month guarantee. Each component has been cleaned individually using an ultrasonic bath, re-assembled, oiled and tested. A new mainspring has been fitted as standard. A new acrylic has also been fitted. The dial retains its original surface finish with some crackling around certain areas of the dial as shown in the photographs. So many of these dials are either replaced or re-finished so it’s very nice to see such an original dial.
