Description

A lovely 18th Century oak original five panel settle. The oak back has five wonderful fielded and shaped panels with pegged construction throughout. With a removable cushion newly reupholstered in Abraham Moon wool, shaped open arms and supported on three cabriole supports with pad feet and slightly splayed rear stile supports. English circa 1780

Dimensions: 72" wide x 28" deep x 38" high (seat height 18")

Condition: This settle is in great condition, a wonderful colour and patination, in totally original condition, except for the newly upholstered cushion. Removed from a Lake District residency
