The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1960s.
The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 792, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 11,163,415 dates it back to 1969.
The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs.
The case is in good condition and the bezel has a bark style finish. The back of the watch has a long service inscription from Richard Hodgson & Sons Ltd, a Yorkshire based tanners.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands and a date display at 6 o'clock. This is an early form of quickset where the hands are moved repeatedly backwards and forwards between midnight and 9pm until the desired date is reached.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
