Antique Waltham Bond Street pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a gilded stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number dates it back to 1913. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Dennison Watch Case Company who made the majority of cases for Waltham UK. The case has some gentle unevenness to the back and the odd mark but overall is very acceptable for a piece that is over 100 years old.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The signed dial has a hairline crack coming down from number 10 but it is fairly faint.

The watch comes with a single chain, 30cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. Nice proportions which suit the watch beautifully. There are a couple of small areas where the plate has worn through to the base metal.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
