An exceptional quality French, 19th century cast iron hall Stand, signed Corneau Freres Charleville
Made in France circa 1870, and signed on the bottom "Corneau Freres Charleville", this tall Napoleon III stand has an oval base decorated with flowers and foliage, it has a painted iron umbrella drip tray.

This impressive cast iron hall stand is in excellent condition with an old painted finish which is worn and would be simple to overcoat
Brothers Alfred and Èmile Corneau, who were master iron smiths started one of the leading iron foundries in the French Ardennes, in 1846.
