Giles Grendey. The arched brass dial bearing the name Jam. Brogden of London (probably the case maker) with attractive spandrels, engraved Roman numerals and minute marks, matted centre and 18th C style steel pointers. The movement is of German origin and is in working order and strikes on the hour & half hour on two bells attached to the case. A very decorative and sought after piece.
